Astoria Neighborhood
ACI is located in the heart of Astoria/Long Island City, just a few blocks
from the corner of 31st Street and 30th Avenue. Astoria is a wonderful
family-oriented community, filled with a variety of ethnic restaurants
and markets; and museums. We're conveniently located by subway,
bus, or car
to Midtown, the Upper West Side, western Queens, the Bronx, and Brooklyn--less
than 20 minutes from 59th/Lex via subway! Community
Meetings
The community utilizes ACI's facilities for a variety of public events:
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8pm and on Sunday mornings.
- Overeaters Anonymous (OA)
meets on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00pm.
- JASA regularly
holds meetings in the Social Hall on Monday and Tuesday for breakfast and
lunch and senior activities.
Space Availability
ACI has a large hall with a kosher kitchen as well as smaller rooms available
