Annual Membership Meeting

The ACI annual Membership Meeting will be taking place at the Center on Sunday, December 17th at 10:00amin the Social Hall. If you are interested in running for an open position, please submit your name to Judith in the office in writing via email (acioffice18@gmail.com) or letter by Sunday, December 3rd, in order to be on the ballot.  Note: Current officers and board members will not automatically be placed on the ballot.

All board members are expected to attend a majority of the Board Meetings, which occur every other month, except during the summer when there are no meetings.  Long standing board members who are no longer able to attend meetings may be nominated as non-voting Honorary Board Members.

The offices and number of open positions are: President (2), Vice President (1), Financial Secretary (1), Recording Secretary (1), Treasurer (1), Board of Trustees (9), Board of Governors (24). In addition, there are eighteen positions on the Board of Trustees that are not currently open for election.  The term of each open position will begin on January 1, 2018, and will run for the number of years indicated.

Below are the eligibility requirements for each position:

Board of Trustees: (nine open positions) – must have served on the Board of Governors for at least five years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a three-year term.

Board of Governors: (twenty-four open positions) – must have been a member in good standing of the Center for at least one year. This is a one-year term.

President: must have been a member of Board of Trustees or Board of Governors for at least five years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a two-year term.

Vice President: must have been a member of Board of Trustees or Board of Governors for at least five years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a two-year term.

Financial Secretary: must have been a member of Board of Trustees or Board of Governors for at least three years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a two-year term.

Recording Secretary: must have been a member of Board of Trustees or Board of Governors for at least three years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a two-year term.

Treasurer: must have been a member of Board of Trustees or Board of Governors for at least three years, which do not need to be consecutive. This is a two-year term.
